DOZENS&DOZENS

Champion

How did a 100-year-old sportswear brand evolve from an outfitter of college athletes and US Army recruits, to the uniform of choice for the Olympic Dream Team and the Wu Tang Clan? And why did it fall off the radar—spending a few decades as a sleeping sweatshirt giant—only to explosively re-emerge as a streetwear staple revered by celebrities, Instagram influencers and cool kids across the globe??? The story of this legacy brand is a roller coaster ride, so put on your hoodie and make yourself comfortable.

Polaroid

Long before the days of smart phones, social media or digital cameras, the signature sound and near-instant gratification of Polaroid’s first-of-its-kind camera transformed photography. Founded on the pursuit of innovation and unparalleled passion, Polaroid’s footing slipped as digital photography soared. But all good things never really die, and its near demise has quickly “developed” like a Phoenix from the ashes. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words, so strike a pose and get ready to hear at least that many with this snapshot of Polaroid.

Pokémon

It was the rally call of the late ‘90s: "Gotta catch ‘em all!" As Pokémon mania swept the globe, the emotion that followed was 100% pure anticipation. Kids around the world tore into packs of collectible cards and made a daily dash to their TV sets to watch the animated series. But like many pop-culture obsessions before it, after a few years of dominating toy store aisles and airways, the brand appeared to faded into the background.

But only 20 years after its debut the brand exploded back onto the scene, earning the attention of old and new Poké fans across the planet... while bringing a cool new AR format to life.
